Transaction Translation

System LocationTools / Import / Transaction Translation

Transaction translations are used to facilitate transaction type interpretations within file imports and web services.  In file import specifications where multiple transaction types may be encountered in a single file, this identifier is expected in a predetermined data column and is used to determine which transaction type that a transaction should be associated with upon importing the transactional data.  These identifiers are configured on a per-import source basis.

Managing Transaction Translations

Transaction translations are required for some file types and they require management for initial setup or addition of transaction types.  Within the aforementioned system location, new transaction translations can be added by clicking the "Add" link at the top of the page.  Furthermore, existing translations can be removed, or deleted, by clicking the appropriate "Edit" link within the main grid.
